I’m honored to serve my peers at the @RecordingAcademy as the newly elected Vice President of the Nashville Chapter. #RepresentingTheAcademy means advocating, supporting, and celebrating the many voices that make up our diverse creative community year-round, and I look forward to joining leaders dedicated to driving music forward.

When we decided to take our kids on their first international trip, we were so excited to show them parts of the world we love, expose them to new cultures, and view the world through their eyes with wonder and awe. Full transparency? An international trip with lots of travel and two young kids is NO joke. Our expectations fell short in so many ways, but I am SO proud of the way we showed up, united as a family, and did the damn thing. I hope when we look back at this trip, we’ll remember this as the trip we built resilience together. I hope our kids will remember us teaching them the value of doing hard things. I hope we’ll forget about our travel woes and Wells getting food poisoning. I’m certain we will remember this as the trip where we dug deeper, got closer, and stuck together.
