Grateful to be part of the Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing Steering Committee—and to be in the room with women whose work has shaped so many of the records I love. Getting to serve this community alongside people like Ann Mincieli, Marcella Araica, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Cheryl Pawelski is pretty incredible. Thanks to the Recording Academy and the P&E Wing team—including Maureen and the staff—for highlighting these women helping shape this side of the industry. Production and engineering are some of the most invisible parts of music —and for women in those roles, even more so. Proud to contribute, and focused on creating more pathways forward. Happy Women’s Month! @anntasticlv @incrediblelago @terrilynecarrington @cherylpawelski

We’re back!!!! I can’t believe it’s been 7 years of getting to play with this crew at @justwannaweekend . If you’re in the bubble this weekend, I’ll be sitting in with the @thecarlilefamilyband and, per tradition, bringing the rock on the 🤘“Night of the Living 90’s” set Sunday night. 🎸 Let’s do this!

A while back, I had the honor to produce the main credits song for LILLY, the new film starring Patricia Clarkson and directed by Rachel Feldman. After its beautiful festival run, LILLY is now streaming on Netflix!!! I’m proud to finally get to share this song with you, and hope you get a chance to watch this amazing story while you can. Written by the amazing Liz Rose and Lauren McLamb, “I Will Not Take It Anymore” was recorded at MOXE with an incredible, all-star group of musicians and collaborators. (Nothing like tracking an 8-piece band at one time get the heart rate up!) Lilly’s story is extraordinary: After nearly two decades as a supervisor at Goodyear, and just as she was nearing retirement, she received an anonymous note listing her salary alongside those of the men doing the same job — all earning significantly more despite having less seniority or education. The discovery was humiliating and heartbreaking, especially from a company she had trusted, but it lit a fire in her. Lilly assumed federal guidelines would protect her, only to learn that “the law is only as good as its enforcement.” What followed was a years-long fight for justice that took her all the way to the Supreme Court and ultimately led to the Fair Pay Act of 2009, reshaping worker protections across the country. EPCOT nights with KT Tunstall — part rock show, part dream sequence. Guardians of the Galaxy rides before soundcheck, fireworks after the last song. Grateful to play music, laugh, and sweat with this band of aces. Learning and getting to play these songs was a dang delight. 🎸 WDW, you were a ride 🎢 @kttunstall @briangriffindrums @solomondorseymusic @kennethaharris @joeliban

This season has given me a lot... but time to take a breath and reflect has NOT been one of them. But, many many thanks for all the birthday wishes! 🙏 🧁 🎈 I just got to steal away for a few days to the PNW, and I have to say 10/10 would recommend. The fish were biting, but friendship................was the biggest catch of all. 😎

Today we celebrated a pretty rad milestone - my parents 50th wedding anniversary! I’m so proud of these two lovebirds who met in Algebra class and made it last 50 years of sickness and health…and lots of love. ❤️ Such a fun day celebrating with friends, getting a sneak peek at the new musical “Dolly“ (so fitting for a love story that spans decades!) and on-brand brunching at White Limozeen. Endlessly thankful for the example they’ve set. Here’s to many more!!

I’m beyond excited to share that I’ll be Musical Directing a dream show for Lincoln Center in NYC at Damrosch Park on June 22: "I Am The Band". 🎶 I've been so busy making the thing, but i can't forget to TELL YOU about the thing! - This show is a celebration of the incredible women who shaped the music we love—icons like Wendy & Lisa, Bobbye Hall, and so many more, all on one stage. THIS BAND IS STAAACKED! For those of us who grew up pouring over liner notes, discovering who played those unforgettable parts was like finding hidden treasure. And in a world where digital platforms often leave out these details, it can be tough to know who’s behind the music that moves us. This show is a chance to celebrate those names, the ones who’ve brought joy to our lives, maybe without us even realizing it. (See: Bobbye's percussion intro on Joe Cocker's "Feelin' Alright", Wendy's guitar solo on "Purple Rain", Lisa's synth intro on "1999"!?!)✨ And Ann Powers hosting?! Trust me, you don’t want to miss this. It’s free, and you can fast-track your tickets through the link below. This one’s travel-worthy, friends. See you there! 🎤 🗓️ Sunday, July 22 📍Damrosch Park 🎟️ Fast Track tickets available now at lincolncenter.org/iamtheband #IAmTheBand #LincolnCenter #WomenInMusic #MadewithMOXE #BobbyeHall #WendyandLisa

Definitely the most exciting trip to the mailbox that I’ve had in a long time. I lovvve reading TapeOp and continue to respect the bastion of knowledge, craft, care and cool that they hold. Seeing the conversation I had with Lisa M in the newest issue of their magazine is a trip! We talked collaborations, making records, a new adventure (more later on that) and #holdingspace for artists. (We didn’t even see the sync coming! 💅🏼 🧙 ) Check out @tapeopmag online (and sign up for their rad physical copies). I also dusted off my long neglected website, so link in the bio ✌️
