Sit down, look up at the clouds above, and feel the light flow through the texture of the paper, a rare glimpse of open sky amid the city’s clamor.
In that moment, as if it reminds us: work is vital, but never forget to simply breathe, never forget to feel your own true presence.

Fuoco Dentro
An installation that reflect on how we can reinterpretate waste materials
“Just as animals flee from fire, so too do humans flee from their responsibilities. Fire burns and fascinates, yet it is dangerous, just like our current situation.
Let us reflect on what our future will be, starting with our furniture.”

Jonathan Bocca
BIO
Jonathan Bocca (1998) is a Tuscanian sculptural designer from Lucca.
Graduated in Interior and Furniture Design at
IED in Florence, he got the chance to experience Fabrica Research Center in Treviso.
Here he studied and worked on new materials for his sculptures and his objects.
Peculiarity focuses his works on the use of recycled paper, a material produced by the waste of the main industries of his hometown Luc-ca.
Processed for some days, is a compound extremely resistant, almost completely organic and well manageable.
Raising awareness on the re-use of organic waste in our daily life
Jonathan thinks that design shouldn’t use un-recycling materials; he aims to spread the possibility to change the way design is conceived, starting from poor and recycled materials reinterpreting them and giving them a new life and meaning. The inspiration for the objects comes from dreams, transformed into reality by creating dreamlike creatures.

Giraffa has always been a piece that truly represents me, that constant desire to see beyond limits, to look further, to reach higher.
This new 200cm version takes that vision even further.
Huge thanks to @mode.mignon for letting us shoot in such an inspiring space.

Designer Jonathan Bocca, from Lucca, Tuscany, reinterprets the legacy of his hometown’s paper industry through a contemporary design language. His practice explores both the physical and emotional resilience of materials, transforming industrial paper waste into sculptural forms made from his own composite of pulp, sand, and natural binders. The result is a material that embodies sustainability and endurance—where fragility meets permanence.

Tradizione II
is a collection created with the intention of continuing the Tradizione project, which explores the excellence and workmanship of Lucca by the use of its local resources. The intent is to express the tradition of paper processing through the creation of new objects. The Tradition Il Lamp is more than just a light source; it is a creature that wants to live and interact with you. Each piece is made by hand, exploiting the resources of the Lucca area and respecting the ancient paper processing techniques.
These objects are not only functional, but true ambassadors of a centuries-old tradition that lives and is renewed every day, establishing a deep and persona bond with those who choose them for their homes.
