It’s a surreal feeling to finally reach this moment. In our education system, the more you progress in higher learning, the higher risk you have to endure a financial burden called student loans. It has been a tremendous journey going after my musical dreams, aiming for the best opportunity to become better. While graduating undergrad, although I hit the ground running by touring with some of the best musicians and traveling around the world, I got reminded quickly that one area of freedom wasn’t quite close in proximity. Having to financially repay for the time, work and intellect that I created never sat well with me. Having my name placed in the use of attraction for the benefit of an institution while having a financial burden over my head was extremely uncomfortable and at times frustrating. Trying to maintain the best mindset, my attitude moving forward was “Not only has my gift brought me this far, it will continue to bring me further.” The key component was my Faith. Philippians 4:19; But my God Shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. What I realized is small gains can lead to big victories. I had a plan. Although it took years, progress is progress. I am so grateful to every opportunity that was given to me over these years which keep me on the track of progress. Although it may have felt like I was in the fire and up against an enormous obstacle, the truth is I was never consumed. Small gains leads to big victories. Today with Joy and Authority I want to share to the world that I AM DEBT FREE!!!! Entering into financial freedom is achievable. From my experience I want to encourage those who may have student loans or any kind of debt. Sometimes the blessing and miracle is in the act of enduring. Life isn’t about how swift or strong you are, the fact that you are enduring everyday proves that you are not overtaken. Victory and Freedom is closer than you think.
