Last year, together with @nicolas.grone , I developed a new design template for ZEIT Online’s short video news on YouTube. The goal was to create a clear visual distinction between in-house productions—such as podcasts, interviews, and explainers—and daily news coverage. The layout is shaped by an enlarged ‘Z,’ integrating the ZEIT Online logo as a defining element.

📍🎭 Very happy to announce the release of a major update to the mapping for @bfdk_ev  (Bundesverband Freie Darstellende Künste e.V.): A comprehensive interactive mapping tool showcasing a network of theatre alliances across Germany. 🔍 This tool visualizes the connections between 10 major alliances, each comprising between 8 to 31 members, illustrating the rich tapestry of the German performing arts scene. Users can explore the geographical spread of these members, offering a 🌟 insights into the regional diversity of the theatre communities. 🗺️ The map allows for filtering options by formats and provinces. This provides a detailed view of the varied artistic expressions and collaborations within each region, reflecting the project’s goal of fostering overregional cooperation and structural support in the arts as emphasized in „Verbindungen fördern“. 💡 🤝 This initiative aligns with BFDK’s commitment to enhancing knowledge exchange and providing structural funding to sustain and strengthen these artistic networks. It’s a digital representation of the ongoing efforts to promote sustainable production and national visibility for regional artistic approaches. 🌱 👉 Swipe to see screenshots of this mapping tool in action and discover the interconnected world of German theatre alliances. 🎨🌍 ——— #GraphicDesign #WebDesign #Theatre #Mapping #InteractiveTool #PerformingArts #TheatreNetwork #Design #Creative #ArtCommunity #theatreLife #DigitalDesign #DataVisualization #DesignUpdates #CulturalMapping #visualstorytelling

Our latest project for Oliveto restaurant in Berlin showcases how thoughtful web design can transform the way guests interact with the offerings of the restaurant. With quick access to the location, phone number, and food menu right from the landing page, we’ve created a clean, responsive digital experience that caters to the diner’s needs. The intuitive category-based layout of the food menu and smart navigation provide a seamless overview, elevating the overall experience. —— #restaurant #oliveto #customerexperience #instafood #restaurantmenu #mobilefirst

We are excited to share the logo we designed together for MotherDuck in 2022! 🦆 We crafted this playful duck footprint mark to capture the essence of the brand in a simple, approachable way. MotherDuck is a data analytics startup that offers services around the open-source database platform DuckDB. 🐤 MotherDuck aims to make analytics accessible and efficient for users with both small and large datasets. Swipe to the last photo to see the logo displayed on the Nasdaq MarketSite on Times Square, NYC. 🏙️ #logodesign #branding #graphicdesign

Excited to share the recent updates we made to the @tanz.nord website! 🌟🎉 From refining details to adjusting to the current seasons colour palette, we've been working behind the scenes to enhance the visual experience and communication. ——— Visual Identity by @silva__baum and @barbora.demovic ——— Since 2021, four project partners from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein (Dachverband freie darstellende Künste in cooperation with K3 - Zentrum für Choreographie | Tanzplan Hamburg, the Kultur- und Bildungszentrum Bad Oldesloe and the Tanz und Performance Netzwerk Schleswig-Holstein) have created @tanz.nord – a structure for cooperation between dance professionals from both federal states. tanz.nord promotes regional exchange, strengthens the independent dance scene in the north and opens up new venues.

BFDK Labore: Landarbeit & Arbeitswelten (2022) ——— Visuals and video documentary in collaboration with Fabian Krauss (@suuupermercado ) & Nicolas Grone (@nicolas.grone ) ——— We're delighted to present the outcomes of our collaboration with BFDK (Bundesverband Freie Darstellende Künste) from last year, focusing on two insightful Labs - one featuring three groups exploring performing arts in rural areas, and the other with two groups examining working conditions in the performing arts sector. Special thanks to @sandrabringer & @alinafluck for the great collaboration throughout the project. Together, we developed visuals for a social media campaign and a video documentary that highlight the valuable research conducted by BFDK scholars. Stay tuned, as we'll be sharing some key findings from the video documentary here soon. If you want to find out more about the project, please check /labore @bfdk_pex_labore_2022 Lastly, we extend our gratitude to @barbora.demovic for her invaluable assistance in refining the color palette for this project. ——— #VisualIdentity #VisualNarrative #BFDKLabore #SocialMediaCampaign #VisualStorytelling #ResearchVisuals #GraphicDesign #VisualCommunication #VideoDocumentary #BFDK #workenvironments

Today I am sharing some elements of the design system and unused early drafts for Next Festival for Advanced Music in Bratislava @festivalnext , that @bara.ruzickova & @barbora.demovic and I were working on this summer. Looking back and going trough the archive folders of the project, I can see how the identity grew and how each of us could integrate some of their special skills and how nice it is to recognise it in the final design. Swipe to see some of the raw shapes and compositions. (using some recycled text elements of Barboras original post about this)
