Many waves broke on Monday in Nazaré and so did my camera. This is what, thankfully, survived from that day 🧜♂️
Even though Nazaré is a teeny tiny dot on Portugal’s map, don’t let it’s size fool you – it’s a giant in the surfing world.
This quiet fishing village becomes a global big-wave surf arena every winter, where nature flexes its might, and the surfers flex their audacity.
From the view point of the iconic red lighthouse, spectators watch in awe as surfers navigate the ever crashing skyscrapers — a task that’s a blend of skill, courage, and perhaps a touch of madness.
Nazaré is a solid proof that sometimes even the smallest places hold the biggest wonders.
