Congrats Benoit on qualifying for the world championships in LAAX!
As a highliner and photographer, the golden path are my favorite conditions. It appears when the sun lines up with the line, low enough to create shadows on the face of the mountains and high enough to illuminate the webbing. Walking is easier towards the golden path, the line illuminates so vibrantly that it becomes your destiny to walk on it. For photos it just makes it dramatic with its big contrast, showing the depth under the highline.

Incident Report - Leash Impact
I experienced a rough landing with my Rocket Mount. The leash came at me quite fast, but fortunately, nothing serious happened; it just felt like I got punched in the face 🥊
As you can see in the video, the Yosemite end wasn’t great. Throughout the session, I was tightening it to prevent the tail from hitting my face, but sometimes I was forgetting it… 🪢
In the end I got hit above the 8-figure knot. My eye did swell up due to the impact, but it could have been worst having the tail of the leash going straight into my eye 👁️
I wanted to share this video to raise awareness about what happened and to remind everyone to be cautious of flying tails while sessioning 🙌

My heart is exploding from this short but sweet trip.
I am blessed to be surrounded by people who not only inspire me, but also believe in and support me.
I can’t express how much of an impact it creates to be a part of this community.
Every day I had people giving me tips, words of encouragement and advice to improve my highline technique and in the end I had an amazing session on the 500 meter line.
Thank you @benoit_brume for your constant support, guidance and wisdom. I channeled my inner @jessica.levine101 on the 500 and wore a dress like she advised, one day I hope to be as dedicated and strong as her! I am so lucky to have my husband @jonaskonijnenberg who not only captured all of this footage but supports & loves me in all ways. I got to meet @tom.michel_slackliner and receive so much insight and good vibes from him. And of course @tamas__h supported me at the anchors and held space for me in challenging moments with his grounding presence. I wish I had spent more time with you @slacklifeofhugo but grateful for the time we did have and hope to see you again soon!

The film follows the planning, the challenges, the breakthroughs, and the rigging, as well as the raw human moments that made it all real. You’ll see what it takes to walk above a beautiful city.
After the screening, we’ll have an open conversation with people who were there on the project. They’ll share stories, answer your questions, and talk about what this kind of work means to them and to the community. You’ll also get a bit of insight into how highlining actually works.�
