🎬 From tonight onwards, artist duo Sarah & Jonas presents the audiovisual work 'The Kitchen as seen from the Garden' in Off the Grid, parallel to the exhibition by Francisco Correia and the performance by Domingo, 16.11 - 9.12.
📹 The video is a theatrical exercise in unlearning and re-learning behaviours in the kitchen. The kitchen is cooked tender just like a spaghetti string. Fragments of bodies, actions and language are dissected, reordered and rehearsed. Through play and alienation, the viewer is invited to crawl out of the (self-)learned and take a new look at the everyday encounter with this place in the house. Cooking becomes the recipe for filling time.
🏞 Also from today onwards, you can admire the monumental banner that Sarah & Jonas created for maakleerplek (Stapelhuisstraat 13/15) in the framework of Fringe. 'Perpetuum Broodbile' will adorn the facade of the building for one year and activate the landscape of the Vaartkom. Save the date 30.11 for the official inauguration!
