Dear my beloved community,
As I sit here and look through these photos from the debut of “Paintbrush Legacy” I recognize the love, ambition, and connection that was shared on this sacred night. People united by hope and the power we’ve possessed to create the stories that keep us inspired.
There were tears shed, hugs, laughter and meaningful conversations. To have so many of you share your stories and how deeply you feel fighting against all odds, driven by your hearts desire. I feel the same. I feel so happy and fulfilled to continue to create stories of people overcoming and inspiring a future of equity and empowerment. As people who come from a marginalized community, we must continue to use our gifts to represent our communities with love and light.

Thank you everyone who came through to the “Paintbrush Legacy” last night! Hosting my solo show in the beautiful @galleryaxis was a dream come true for me.
It got so crazy in there and the reception was overwhelmingly packed with so many of you. I realize I didn’t get a chance to truly connect with each of you in the meaningful way that I wanted.
Because of this, I have decided to have two private receptions, not open to the public that will be a limited capacity of 25 people. This way everyone will get an opportunity to truly connect, ask questions and get a chance to dive into the meaning and the stories behind the collection.
The first private viewing will be held on February 19 from 5pm - 7pm at Gallery Axis (308 1st Ave S)
The second private viewing will be held on March 2 from 5pm - 7pm at Gallery Axis (308 1st Ave S)
