Delighted to share this illustration for the New York Times to accompany a book review of Stephen King’s new novel Fairy Tale, written by Matt Bell. I loved reading King’s novels growing up so it was such a treat to create an image inspired by his work. Huge thanks to AD Matt for the opportunity and guidance @matt.dorfman @nytimes

Last year I had the pleasure of illustrating the front cover of The Tattooed Hills by Jon Woolcott @dorsetjonw as well as ten interior black and white illustrations. The book is a fascinating read full of humour and reverence towards Britain's enigmatic chalk figures and it has only just hit the shelves, both virtually and physically in bookstores across the UK. Jon will also be doing signings in the coming months, details of which are featured in the last slide as well as his socials. Many thanks to Jon, AD Patrick, and the team at @quartobooksuk for having me on board! 🐴

An illustrated portrait of Roger Casement for the upcoming Praising the Dead exhibition curated by @illustratorsireland Roger Casement was a diplomat, poet, and Irish nationalist who is regarded as a pioneer of human rights activism for his investigations in the Congo and Peru. In 1916, his efforts to gain aid from Germany for Irish independence resulted in his arrest by the British government. His trial was sabotaged by the circulation of pages from the Black Diaries, private journals said to be written by Casement that recounted numerous homosexual liaisons. He was executed at age 51 in London, August 1916. Below is the official invite to the exhibition by Illustrators Ireland; "We’re pleased to invite you to the Praising the Dead exhibition, showcasing the talented members of Illustrators Ireland. This exhibition will be on display from 8 May to 13 June 2025 in Belfast. Join us as we explore the theme of remembrance by honouring and bringing to life iconic figures from Irish history through art. We hope you’ll take the time to engage with this celebration of the past." Launch Date: 8 May - 13 June (7PM) Venue: Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich, 216 Falls Rd, Belfast BT12 6AH, United Kingdom Event poster artwork by the talented @maiden_moose
