Leicester friends: I have the pleasure of joining Marlon from @thebasementpresentsmusic tomorrow evening at @therealaleclassroom for a chat and to play a set of some of the music that got me into DJing and producing as part of his Open Turntables event. I’m also going to be bringing down some vinyl records from my collection to sell - including records by Flying Lotus, Bonobo, Burial, Two Fingers and more, as well as some merch :)

The second single from Above The Clouds (aka the Berlin-based duo kidkanevil & Magic Manfred), taking on another underground hip hop classic, 'Change'.
'Change' was originally performed by Shadez of Brooklyn, produced by Da Beatminerz and most notably appeared on DJ Premier's legendary 'New York Reality Check 101' mix comp back in 1997.
This release follows on from last Summer's MF DOOM cover 'Arrow Root', which received support from the likes of DJ Koco & DJ Jazzy Jeff.
The new instrumental reinterpretation of 'Change' also features scratches by Leicester-based turntablist, musician & former DMC World Online Champ, Jon1st.
