So here’s TPIM’s take, shaped by a decade in the industry and what we actually see in real weddings.
This example is based on a $100K budget. You’ll notice we’ve intentionally left some things out, because real budgets aren’t one-size-fits-all. Maybe you choose a DJ over a band, or go digital instead of working with a stationer.
There are bigger variables too: is that $100K for 50 guests or 90? That alone shifts everything.
At this level, most couples are opting for partial planning or coordination, not full-service. And priorities matter. Maybe you want a curated playlist and skip a DJ entirely. Maybe florals aren’t your thing.
Your negotiables vs. non-negotiables will always shape these percentages.

Almost a year ago, I met with @trimblenator , she took some photos and super 8 footage of me as I was prepping to launch @joinaltare .
We had so much fun, we laughed, ate croissants and had a blast.
What I love so much about this industry is the amazing connections and friendships I have made with insanely talented people. The more you connect with folks, the more you realize how much you have in common. How the majority of us are creatives,
artists and theater school kids who found their way into weddings and it makes me so freakin happy.
Last night I got a text from @trimblenator , she surprised me with this edit of footage she took of me during that shoot (nearly a year ago) and I smiled from ear to ear. If you’ve been around for a while you know where TPIM’s name came from.
What an ode to the energy I hope to bring to my companies and clients, to friendships and hoping that if you’re new to following THE PRIVILEGE IS MINE and @joinaltare … this is simply the vibe.

4. We also spruced the Dashboard up, organized things and made the process more intuitive.

Who is tired of seeing the average wedding be $30K or pricing catering at $7K? I am.
What was really important to me while we were building out the “Budget Tool” within the ALTARE app was that the budgets were realistic, customizable and easy to tailor to your wedding needs.

I always say to start at $1,000/pp, for example $150,000 for 150 guests, could you have a wedding for less? Sure, Can you have a wedding for more? Absolutely, but to keep things simple start there and adjust accordingly.
