A night at the ballet.🩰✨
(Note: The last slide is when I studied dance at Alvin Ailey in NYC for a summer when I was 16. I still don’t know how my parents said yes to that.)
I’m leaving Miami feeling full and inspired after spending the week at #ExcelerateHer. Thank you @kimblackwellpmm for having me and for curating such an amazing room of inspiring executive women. 🧡✨🚀

We’re proud to announce The Murphy Girls Scholarship Fund, created by Joi-Marie Murphy McKenzie Lewis. This scholarship pays tribute to the extraordinary lineage of trailblazing Black women journalists—the daughters of Afro-American Newspaper publisher Carl Murphy and Vashti Turley Murphy, affectionately known as The Murphy Girls.
From breaking barriers as the first Black woman overseas war correspondent during WWII, to serving in the historic Six Triple Eight Battalion, to leading as editors and publishers of the Afro-American, their impact on journalism and Black storytelling is immeasurable.
📚 This scholarship supports Black women who are passionate about journalism and committed to telling Black stories.
Apply now and carry forward the legacy of The Murphy Girls.

@Unilever CMO Esi Eggleston Bracey and I had so much fun at @smartlyio ’s #Advance2025 conference earlier this week, where we spoke about “The Heart of Growth: Leading with Purpose in a Performance World.”
Esi is a gracious teacher, helping the room of more than 500 attendees explore how today’s consumers demand more than transactions — they expect truth.
Thank you so much to the Smartly team for having me, especially my forever work wife, @belikebri . 💕
