Born in Tyneside and inspired by family cooking and early training, chef Williams MBE forged his craft through decades spent in some of London’s most prestigious kitchens. Since joining The Ritz in 2004, he has led a brigade of more than 60 chefs, overseeing the culinary identity of The Ritz Restaurant, The Palm Court, The Rivoli Bar, and the hotel’s celebrated banqueting service, the only one in the country to hold a Royal Warrant for Catering and Banqueting, granted by His Majesty King Charles.
His cuisine is distinguished by technical finesse, seasonal clarity, and the timeless elegance of French tradition. Guided by the pioneering spirit of Auguste Escoffier - friend and collaborator of César Ritz - Williams pays homage to the past while elevating classicism to new heights.
