This is one of my teachers. In December Vincent Ball turned 100. Neither he nor Bud Tingwell, Anne Haddy, Ron Haddrick, Aileen Britton and all the other Australian actors of a golden generation knew they were teaching me - but I was lucky enough to be watching them as I worked with them.
