❝I was born at Bethnal Green Hospital in the East End district of Bethnal Green, London. My early childhood was spent in a Clapton council house in the London borough of Hackney, where I did attended to Northwold Primary School and Clapton Park. My grandparents happen to be Russian Jewish immigrants, and my parents were piece workers in the garment industry. After a few years, me and my loving family decided that it was time to move from Clapton and into the Victoria Park which was just lovely. I was only nine years old when we moved away from home. How did I discover my love for music? Well my parents were to poor to buy me my own record player but they always played and played music of their own throughout the house. I remember when I even had to ask our neighbors to borrow a player to listen to my own first hit single as well. At the age of ten, I finally was a singer in a group with my cousin Susan Singer, that was called "Susan and the Hula Hoops" I thought that we were brilliant, incredible, talented, amazing, etc. despite what others might of thought.❞
