Dream achieved! Teenage me, who saved up to buy an Atari, would be freaking out. I was a total video game nerd from my teens, into college, and beyond... and now I'm in one! It comes out October 3rd on X-Box, PC, and more and I play a Texan (what a stretch 😅) bank robber named Eddie. The world of the game is amazing and I can't wait to play it. It's called "The Lamplighters League and the Tower at the End of the World" which is an Indiana Jones type title which totally fits the era and look of the game. I couldn't be happier to be involved with it and the great folks at Harebrained Schemes (Battletech, Shadowrun) who are friggin amazing!

Great day for an Equity theatre audition within walking distance of the casa. Went great, did exactly what I wanted to do. As we all know, that means zero, but it was nice to hear some kind words about my choices and competency. We'll see what happens! I miss doing ensemble theatre with a big group and am going to work towards getting to do that in the next few years.

Nothing terribly exciting/secret from my BTS photos... although I am holding back a few. As you can see, we shot 19 months ago on the Sony lot on Stage 25. It's fun to see what other projects were shot on the same stage and the same lot (check out the 2nd pic). Other projects that were shot on the same lot (but not necessarily the same stage) in all different eras include: (film) The Wizard of Oz, Gone With the Wind, Singing in the Rain, Interstellar, Superbad, Step Brothers, The Cable Guy, Rocky, Jaws 1 through 3, (TV) Barry, Californication, Married with Children, Dallas (original), Donny and Marie, Alf, Jeopardy!, Batman (1966), and in one year, Rawhide, The Twilight Zone, and Bonanza all started production (1959).
When you know how unlikely it is to get an audition and then actually do the even more unlikely thing and book the job, you definitely celebrate moments like this. Huzzah! I didn't end up on the cutting room floor... all three scenes made the cut. You see my face, hear my voice, see my make believe wife (Lisa Carswell) and son (Barrett Carnahan), and my name is even in that little "InSight/X-Ray" function when watching the episode; pretty sure that's a new thing for me. Anyhow, victory! Shot it August of 2024, so it's been a long wait. Will post a few behind the scenes pics later. Yay.

What did you expect? Of course I'm posting pictures of the lettuce I grew in my backyard. I'm 13 months away from being an entire decade older, the one that feels/sounds really old when you say the number out loud. So get off my lawn, I have lettuce to grow, harvest, and turn into a delicious m************ salad.
