Better to feel lonely for a night than trapped in a relationship that makes you feel alone every day.
A lot of people rush into love thinking theyâll âmake it work,â but the wrong relationship can feel heavier than being single ever did.

@lesliesiebeling and I had such a great time at our @thelifechurchnewyork location. Leslie spoke at a sold-out Zoe Night and I spoke in the weekend services. It is so awesome to have such a vibrant strong location in New York. God is on the move! 5 weekend services. Loads of salvation decisions. New people. Growth and momentum! @waynefrancis and @classy1999 and the whole team are doing an amazing job.
Protection matters.
But if protection is the only goal, our kids never learn how to stand back up.
Thereâs a season when we cover them closely, watch every step, and stay ready to catch them. Thatâs good parenting. Thatâs love.
But as they grow, protection has to slowly give way to preparation.
Because one day, theyâll fall and we wonât be close enough to grab them.
So we teach them how to get back up.
How to try again.
How to read a room.
How to build strong faith in God.
How to keep moving forward.
The goal isnât to raise kids who never hit the ground.
The goal is to raise kids who know what to do when they do.
Wisdom is knowing the difference between protecting and preparing.
âĄïžSave this one and send it to a parent whoâs trying to get that balance right.
Strong marriages donât fall apart because of culture.
They break down when it becomes all about me.
Scorekeeping will drain it fast.
Who did more. Who gave less.
Thatâs not how this works.
Marriage moves forward when both people show up fully.
No keeping tabs. Just giving.
Because real love costs something.
Jesus didnât hold back.
He gave everything.
And He calls us to live the same way.
Thatâs how a marriage lasts.
People stay in relationships they already know arenât right.
They see it. They feel it. They stay anyway. They stay stuck.
Familiarity â Safety
Nothing really shifts until something deeper shifts.
In Christ, youâre not trying to earn love or hold onto scraps.
Youâre already chosen. Already secure.
When that settles in, your decisions start to look different.
25 YEARS!
ARC Conference 2026 was extra special. It was an amazing few days. We celebrated our 25th Anniversary, had amazing worship and powerful teaching/preaching/impartation. It was the best one yet!
I am always deeply grateful when Iâm in the midst of these moments with my friends, my tribe, my spiritual family - but this year it all hit different. Thinking about the fact that @lesliesiebeling and I have been at every conference and part of this movement from the very beginning! It has shaped our lives! Looking around the room and worshipping with friends that weâve done life with these past 25+ years. It was overwhelming. Big thanks to Billy Hornsby and @gregsurratt for the vision of planting churches!
Right before Billy passed away, he got us all in a room and made us promise to stick together no matter what! Incredible to think that weâve done that! Weâve fought life through together. Weâve laughed together and cried together. Weâve celebrated together and grieved together. Weâve raised kids together (and now grandkids). Weâve built churches and ministries together! Itâs a picture of legacy.
Mad love and respect to all my friends on the ARC Lead Team. Thanks for being passionate about the greatest cause on this earth - The Local Church! Letâs keep planting churches all over the world!
And thank you to @dinorizzo and @delynnrizzo for leading the way, for loving Leslie and me and our family the way you do and hosting the greatest conference! Leslie and I love you so much!
