I can’t believe it. It was a dream creating these songs together. We gave ourselves one week, trapped in Joel’s mother’s basement (thank you again Renee), to write this album. We knew we needed to get away and have songwriting be the only priority in our lives. We had no idea if we’d come out with a cool album or just really really mad at each other and album-less. That week was full of laughs, anger, and unexpected heartache that fueled everything on this record.
We couldn’t be happier with what was created.
Huge shout out to @waynes_world for not only engineering and mixing this, but also for allowing us to have a proper emotional and creative studio experience. You are seriously the best. Like I can’t think of anyone better.
Also a huge shoutout to @noahmintzmastering . You made this thing shine. We needed that.
And thank you to all the kickstarters that backed this project. You all helped us beyond words.
