John Dixon
In my interviews for Book Two, a few characters appear repeatedly. One of those is @johns_op .
Dicko was one of the first operators I met after being badged, and he is arguably one of the most experienced warfighters from the Regiment during the GWOT era. Some of his stories are so insane they almost seem unbelievable. I assure you, theyâre not. This is not a fiction book.
Stay tuned. You wonât want to miss this.
Book Two â out early 2027.
Well finally gave a PC a go with @zero.limits.podcast As irrelevant as I am these days đ it was still a fine line to tread with what I can and canât talk about. This PC barely scratches the surface of special operations warfighting but in this day and age we kept it very PG. Obviously, for guys on the ground some of the details were changed to make sure events arenât taken âout of contextâ by people that donât have our best interests at heart and certainly details were changed to protect still serving operators. I hope thereâs something in it for everyone and thanks for having me on the PC Matty! #australianspecialforces #australianspecialoperations #specialforces #sniper
No matter the person or walk of life, Iâve never seen someone not light up after hitting a long-range steel target.
It was a great privilege to tutor some long-range shooting activities for a recent business event with a group of very successful, high-performing business people. Many had never shot before, but they were all ringing steel at 800m in no time.
How they managed it with all the heckling, Iâll never know 𤣠#longrangeshooting #onlyaccurateriflesareinteresting @nightforceanz@proofresearch@happy_viking
âAs weâve said many times, any members of this cohort who have committed crimes can expect to face the full force of the law,â said Tony Burke.
The devil is in the details, and that sentence alone highlights the problem.
These women may have committed, or been complicit in, some of the worst crimes against humanity imaginable. But unless there is hard evidence, what happens? Unless foreign intelligence agencies already have proof, these people are unlikely to be investigated in the war zones they came from.
Weâve already seen fighting-age males return from Syria and Iraq under deep suspicion of fighting alongside ISIS, yet no prosecutions followed because there wasnât enough evidence beyond reasonable doubt. Many claimed they were only near the Turkish border providing humanitarian aid. These men now walk amongst us having raped and murdered their way through parts of the Middle East.Â
Most people know theyâre lying, but knowing and proving are two different things.
Iâd be willing to bet there will be little to no tangible evidence to prosecute the ISIS brides, and in 18 months Tony Burke will point back to these exact words: no evidence they âcommitted crimes.â Letâs see $300 million dollars digging up evidence on them, or is that just for the operators that hunted them down? @big.chocky@2worldscollidepodcast
At this point in time (2009), you may not like it, but this is what peak male performance looked like. Riding my aptly named âBooty Sweatâ into battle in the Kajaki Fan, Helmand was a rush and my iron steed always brought me home! #helmand #specialforces #2CDO #specialforces #polaris

Helmand 2009 - After an intense day we traded a few parting blows! Helmet Cameras in 2009 didnât catch the audio well and just how loud these weapon systems are. If anyone has mates at the ABCâs editing department feel free to add some loud and or extra gunshots, we know youâve got that skill đ #specialoperations #carlgustav #tieronefun #2CDO @scott_ryder_zero79@zero.limits.podcast@matty.m.morris
