@mounttocoast recently teamed up with @tfneuberger from @believeintherun to create a special limited edition shoe.
Late last year Thomas got to live out his dream of designing his own shoe when he travelled to Mount to Coast’s HQ in Hong Kong to collaborate with the brand.
Starting with Mount to Coast’s popular H1 (hybrid) ‘Road to Trail’ shoe Thomas completely reworked the upper to include a bootie / gaiter style construction combined with Mount to Coast’s TUNEDFIT™️Dual Lacing System for a glove-like fit.
Add a cool understated aesthetic with subtle dual branding and you’ve got on super-stylish, super-versatile road to trail shoe. 😛
Thomas and I chatted about his secret shoe during a riverside run at TRE last December and I heard from the man himself just how special this project had been for him.
As soon as they dropped this spring I HAD TO get myself a pair! 😊
I’ll post more about the fit & feel soon and share how the BITR H1’s perform out on the trails. 🤓

Emotional post incoming..
Today was my last day at INOV8. 🥲
I’ve often joked that time is measured at INOV8 in dog years and I’m definitely not wrong; whilst I was only with the brand for 2 and a half years that actually equated to around 26 dog years which feels just about right when I consider how much I was able to cram into my time there.
Joining INOV8 when I did opened me up to multiple opportunities within the business and I’m proud to say I said yes to everything that was put in front of me.
Within the footwear team I was able to play a pivotal role in creating premium technical products which will be launched to the public in the coming seasons and I’m super-excited to see how they’re received by the trail and road running communities.
From early concepts to final production samples, I have been able to bring some of INOV8’s most exciting new footwear to life as part of a small, talented and incredibly hard-working team and I will always be thankful for such a rewarding experience.
My time at INOV8 has taken me to some amazing places - Chamonix, Annecy, Les Deux Alpes, San Antonio and of course the NEC Birmingham 🤣 Within the business and the wider running industry from around the world I have met some fantastic people who I’m pleased to say will continue to be lifelong friends.
So now, I’m slotting neatly back into the cycling industry and picking up where I left off and I’m looking forward to bringing my energy to some exciting new projects.
As for my deep love of running and my unabashed running shoe nerdery, I now get to recalibrate how it fits into my life. I’ve still got A LOT to say when it comes to running shoes and gear and I’m pleased to say I’ll be continuing to share my thoughts and observations in a slightly different way in the near future so watch this space! 👀
The running industry is an incredible community. Ultimately it all comes down to the good people within it so thank you to everyone I connected with over the past couple of years, you’ve all made my experience within the industry so much more special.

Guys, BIG news. 😅 After months of hard training, logging endless miles on road, trail and fell I’ve FINALLY made the cut and have been approved for full leg modelling. 🤣
This is a huge step (pun intended) for me as I progress from my previous hand and feet modelling work. 🤣
