253 miles. A paradigm shifting victory. Six athletes wearing Mount to Coast in the top 10. As the dust settles on @cocodona250 we reflect on a week that changed the sport of ultrarunning and proved the H1 as a high-performance running shoe. To all the athletes who spent days battling the elements and themselves across Arizona: we see you. Congratulations on an incredible race. #cocodona250 #transcenddistance #gobeyond #ultrarunning #trailrunning #ultramarathon #mounttocoast

Second place at @trailalsacebyutmb 100K - just 29 seconds behind the win. @corentin.play is quickly establishing himself as one of the rising names in French trail running. In a race this relentless, there is barely time to breathe at the aid stations. But for Corentin, those brief moments of seeing his son, Augustin, waiting alongside his crew became the anchor that kept him moving forward. “I run for my family, to make my kids proud,” he says. By kilometer 80, the lead pack had been reduced to three runners. By kilometer 95, after the climb to the Abbaye de Niedermunster, it had become a head-to-head battle. The mountain emptied whatever strength remained. One final downhill charge through the Alsatian vineyards, then across the finish line. Second race of the year. Second podium finish. To Corentin, and to the quiet consistency and discipline it takes to perform at this level, we see the work. Congratulations on an incredible race. Corentin was wearing the Mount to Coast M1, our upcoming technical trail running shoe. @manuvilaseca is not an athlete who often DNFs, but in this year's @cocodona250 , doctors have forced her to stop. While most runners use pacers, Manu prefers to go solo and truly experience every mile on her own terms. She may not have finished this time, but she enjoyed the first 203 miles. She’ll be back racing later this year. Photos by @longrunlactic #cocodona250 #transcenddistance #gobeyond #ultrarunning #trailrunning #ultramarathon #mounttocoast

Six straight years. And the sixth athlete to finish in the top 10 of the 2026 @cocodona250 in Mount to Coast shoes. @thefreeoutside ran his first Cocodona in 2021, and he’s been back every year since. This year he was seventh male and 10th overall, racing in the Mount to Coast M1s and H1s. @_megeckert epitomizes patience. She waited and let the race unfold in front of her as she bided her time and let the war of attrition play into her favor. Her experience in the multi-day events and backyard ultras undoubtedly gave her the advantage of knowing that in this space, the race is decided in the final miles. Meg finished as @cocodona250 third-place female, relying on a rotation of the Mount to Coast M1s and H1s in the new Sedona colorway. In 2025 @cody_poskin placed seventh male at the @cocodona250 in a time of 71:11. One year later, he was back to claim second place male in a time of 58:13 – an almost 13-hour PR and 40 minutes below the previous record as the third fastest time in race history. The 24-year-old from Missouri, who titled his race handbook for his crew “The Book of Moron” is known for his high mileage and his sense of humor looked to be making up time on the final descent – he’ll see this result as a stepping stone to the top step. Cody raced in Mount to Coast M1s and H1s in the brand-new Sedona colorway. Photos by @longrunlactic #cocodona250 #transcenddistance #gobeyond #ultrarunning #trailrunning #ultramarathon #mounttocoast

Three DNFs weren’t enough to dampen @kiliankorth ’s ambition. After failing to finish the @cocodona250 three times, he attacked the course with even more vigor and this year it paid off: first place male, under the previous course record. Kilian raced in the Mount to Coast H1s and a tailor-made version built around the new M1 midsole. First Male: @kiliankorth Second Male: @cody_poskin Separated by 45 minutes after 253 miles of racing. Since 5 am on Monday, Mount to Coast pros @kiliankorth and @cody_poskin have been executing a race plan a year in the making. Both had unfinished business with the Cocodona 250, and both had a singular goal in mind: to find themselves on top of the podium. The pair pushed each other – and themselves – the whole way, and while they come away as first and second placed male, neither could hold a light to overall winner and new course record holder Rachel Entrekin who dominated the race. Entrekin’s result will be spoken about for years to come, and no doubt go down alongside such milestones like Roger Bannister’s sub-4 minute mile, which fittingly, took place on this day 72 years ago. Though they both had different approaches, Kilian and Cody left everything out there, with Kilian driving from the front right away, versus Cody biding his time in a game of cat and mouse. The result is that they have taken the top two steps of the male podium, well under the old record. With 30,000 people watching the livestream at times, ultrarunning is having its moment. After running a day and a half at @cocodona250 , @cody_poskin is finding his rhythm, and it shows. Now slowly climbing up to the men's second place, he’s building on last year’s seventh-place finish with a deeper understanding of the course and a year of hard-earned progress behind him. Keep pushing, Cody. The finish line is getting closer. Film by @elevation0m Cover by @longrunlactic #cocodona250 #transcenddistance #gobeyond #ultrarunning #trailrunning #ultramarathon #mounttocoast

Mile 36 at @cocodona250 and @kiliankorth is leading the men’s race. Mile 75, he’s still out front. Sure, there’s a long way (175 miles) to go but would you bet against a guy who last year won all three events of the Triple Crown of US 200-milers, and set a new cumulative record? If anyone has proved their ability in these long races, it’s Korth, and in Cocodona, the Mount to Coast athlete already looks impressive.
