So, the last couple weeks have been a blur basically. It all started with meeting Tami in Texas and driving to our favorite fest ever, Luck Reunion. Tami performed at a cool gig that night with a bunch of powerful women, then we headed up to the main stage and sang a song (Beyond the Stars) with Willie Nelson. Then we hung out and sang the gospel medley with him before calling it a night. We woke up and flew to NYC to see the
@opry at Carnegie Hall! It was perfection, we had some good chats and some nice food at the after party. Then we headed back to Toronto and Tami sang a duet with
@williamprince at Massey Hall, his show was beautiful, me and
@lindsaybneilson loved it. It wasn’t long after that that we took off to Nashville, home of some of the tastiest southern food I’ve had in a whiiiile. We got to chill with
@nicoleatkins and had some killer Asian food. Tami played at the Songs of Tammy Wynette tv special filmed at the Ryman. She actually got to sing two songs because Lucinda Williams couldn’t make it to sing her song. The evening was amazing, after it was over we chilled at the after party with
@wynonnajudd and my Brother was flirting with her husband. I think they’re dating now? (haha). THEN we went to the Opry, the real life Opry, and went to rehearsals and I got to play 3 songs with my sis just like old times. Except this time we were on the Opry stage in front of thousands of ppl. It was a wild couple of weeks y’all! Thanks to
