JOHNNY5, wax enthusiast, has been in the Scottish music scene for around a decade now, running some great club nights and international radio segments. He has been a resident on @schr0dingersbox radio of the mighty @intergalacticfm for around 3 years now.

Romphea lands on Scottish imprint Hilltown Disco with his debut EP, Blind Protocols. A producer who’s been making serious waves worldwide, Romphea’s forward-thinking take on electro has already found a home on respected labels such as Pinkman, Tiger Weeds, FERMA, and recently on Hilltown Disco’s charity compilation.
Romphea distills his sound on ‘Blind Protocols’ into a fierce club-ready statement. The A-side delivers three break-neck electro cuts, loaded with acidic pressure and gripping, sweat-driven drum workouts. Flip it over and the EP slips into darker territory, leaning into EBM influences with two killer remixes from Hayter and Timothy J. Fairplay.

Schrödinger’s Box is closing off the year with a top mix by Scottish legend - Ben Hilltown Disco!
A founding member of Dundee based label, and cult club night, Hilltown Disco, and Exiled Records - Ben has carved out a name for himself as a studious selector and pioneering producer of a distinct style of face melting electronic music.
With regular shows on Brixton Radio and Clyde Built Radio, and sets played in many renowned underground club nights of Scotland & beyond.
Ben has been spending recent months focusing on his new radio show ‘Haar’ which focuses on new-beat, acid and experimental. More news to come soon.

DJ Bone is one of Detroit’s most coveted underground vinyl technicians. This very talented and highly sought after artist plays events and clubs worldwide, has held a residency at four of Detroit’s top clubs and produces music inspired by the city in which he hales from, Detroit. His record label Subject Detroit is futuristic and unearthly while still displaying the true essence of Detroit’s Techno Soul.
DJ Bone describes himself as “an uncompromising, hype hating, 100% independent, real Detroit native come auditory striker and soul controller that cannot be bought”.
