Future Erotic: Ten years ago I put together this video by cutting up a synth pop cover version of Prince’s Erotic City and matched it with some vintage computer animation. I’ve lost the project files for this edit and can’t remember the artists behind the music or visuals. if anyone recognizes them, let me know so I can credit them properly.
These beautiful visuals come from the 1981 classic, Son of the White Mare. Possibly one of the craziest pieces of psychedelic animation ever made (next to Yellow Submarine, of course). About ten years ago I happened to be looking for some “crazy, psychedelic visuals” to cut with this song, Fire Season, that I recorded with @dmstith for our project The Revival Hour. I couldn’t believe how well they fit together. It felt fated! Side note: you can see the full film (with its actual audio track) on @nightflightofficial . I taught myself video editing starting around 2012 by creating fun projects like this, my first mash-up. This one was cramming @hallandoatesofficial (and @arthurhbaker ) with The @futuresoundoflondon . Both of these songs inspired me back in the 80’s and 90’s respectively in a big way. “Bad Father”, second in the series of two word movie summaries. This one for The Shining. I’ve been in awe of this movie ever since I saw it at the too young age of 10 or 11. It kickstarted my love of horror in a big way, esp. the psychological variety. Thanks to @dycannon for the idea.

Don’t Hang Up (Part 2) I made the music for this piece about 28 years ago sampling The Bar-Kays and Sheena Easton’s Sugar Walls. It had been locked away until I went trawling through old DAT tapes and decided to breathe a little life into it with some visual tomfoolery. Please like, comment and share as you see fit!
