A quick tour through “Sum of Its Parts,” on view now at @childsgallery in Boston. The series combines inspiration from Baroque still-life painting and the fragmented statues of antiquity. By presenting body parts as objects—arranged, isolated, or separated across canvases—I’m exploring how fragments can suggest presence, history, and identity.
.
The show takes its name from Aristotle’s line, “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts,” a reminder that no single piece or snapshot can capture a life in full.

On view November 21, 2025–January 11, 2026. Thank you to everyone who has visited and supported the work already! And to the AMAZING team at Childs Gallery for bringing the show to life. Link in bio for more information on the show and details of the art.
