@himmie1010 cut this reel together for me. And you know what, it’s the first time this process didn’t feel like getting a root canal. His work is absolutely stellar….if’n you need this sort of thing, he’s your guy!
Also asked @himmie1010 to cut together some of my favorite TV commercials. So if you hate commercials, you’re going to LOVE this. I had two requests. I didn’t want it to just be spots cut together back to back to back. And I wanted to sprinkle in the love theme from St. Elmos Fire as a score. For a couple of reasons. One, to poke a little fun at the fact that we were even cutting a commercial reel. Second, and more importantly, because it’s one of the great musical compositions of our time. Look for Himmie’s other reels online. They’re fantastic and you should HIT HIM UP for this type work.
🤠🛒 There’s a new cowboy riding into town… and he’s headed to Aldi.
Big shoutout to our client Jeffrey Johnson, who stars as the Aldi Cowboy in this brand new campaign spot! From the cinematic western energy to the perfectly played charm, Jeffrey brings a whole lot of personality to this new spokesperson role. In this tale of The Aldi Cowboy sbv's Cheyenne Perez & John Beach learn about "An Aldi Brand" [whip crack sound]. 🌵✨
We love seeing our sbv talent leading campaigns like this — and this one is seriously fun. Casting shoutout to our friends at @spotcasting .
Check out the spot and let us know: if the Aldi Cowboy rolled into your town, what snack are you tossing in the cart first? 👇🤠

Such an amazing time last weekend in my hometown for the world premiere of my new film, “M.R.I. (or, Michael Returns Indefinitely)”, at this year’s @lafilmprize . We came away with a Top 5 finish, alongside an incredible group of films, including this year’s winner, the wonderful “Last Minute” from @whiskeycatproductions . A huge thanks to fellow MRI producers @alexanderjeffery , @gaynanettebeach , @brittfallow & @himmie1010 , as well as @emilyalthaus and the rest of our incredible local cast and crew for coming together to make this happen 🙏🏻
I’ve been telling any filmmaker friends that will listen for the last few years to consider filming their short films in Louisiana for @prizefest . It’s such an incredible opportunity, and the community that @gregorykberg and his team have been building for over a decade is truly special to be a part of. There’s nothing like it as far as audience engagement, and the creative connection it fosters among the filmmakers and mentor judges is unmatched.
A huge congratulations to all the other filmmakers. I had such a wonderful time meeting you all and watching your wonderful films, and I can’t wait to see what everyone does next!
And another big THANK YOU to all the film fans, friends and family that came out to support, and to everyone involved in putting on the Louisiana Film Prize and making it such an incredible event, year after year. Viva!!!

More new work! When I saw @johnfbeach ‘s film @theygrowupsofastfilm at @lafilmprize in 2022, I was completely blown away. This year, I had the opportunity to shoot his new film, MRI, as well as help produce, which was an absolute blast! The team that pulled this thing together is insanely talented and I’m so excited for people to see the film for the first time at @prizefest next month! So grateful to be part of this team!
