As a huge fan of Ingmar Bergman I wanted to make a small tribute to him before my upcoming visit to his estate on the island of Fårö in Gotland, Sweden.
I chose an excerpt of a monologue from Persona to recontextualize in a new setting and narrative.
This coincided nicely with my endeavors in Unreal Engine. I conceived a little production mixing Quixel assets, Metahuman, and classic rigs would make for an interesting cocktail.
I am especially happy with the atmosphere in the clip, as I feel that is something that the game engines sometimes struggle with.
That feeling when you wake up in the vast void of glimmering space balancing on the top of a mountain peak smothered by shooting stars!

After being pierced by a stray beam of light the hollow chest of O! has recently started to tingle and reveal a pulse. Perhaps something is brewing in that hollow void that once used to house a heart. Wielding a staff with which O! Is able to travel through time and space searching for the source of the piercing light, that now has dithered into a cosmic vibration and haunts O!:s dreams..
