I had the honour of playing with Ron Sexsmith today at the Festival Theatre for @stratfest As You Like It. Ron composed a few pieces for the show and made a special guest appearance today for this lucky audience. I've been a fan of his for a long time, and never in my wildest imaginations would I think I'd be playing music with him in front of an audience. Pretty cool. @gabrielnacci @ronsexsmithmusic

With only 12 performances left of FORGIVENESS, I am reflecting on this show and the process. After seeing the production in Calgary, I knew that this play was a unique and important voice in Canadian theatre. It is a truly rewarding endeavor to now be in this company and to tell this story. The words, along with the technical storytelling in the amazing composition, sound and lighting design, stunning costumes, set, and projections, create such a vivid world to act within. All of my interactions with the Stratford audiences have been very humbling as they express their connection to this epic story. I will savor each performance in this last month. This week, I experienced my official Stratford Festival debut as Charles in Shakespeare's AS YOU LIKE IT, directed by @crowstheatread for the Festival Theatre stage, in front of the largest audience of my career. I am proud and humbled to be part of this production with this group of artists, which encompasses such a wealth of talent, knowledge, and experience. To perform Shakespeare on a stage that was purpose built for his plays, with such history behind it, is a thrill. Milestones have a way of making one reflective. I am full of gratitude and love for all of the teachers, mentors, friends, and colleagues I have had the pleasure of working with over my career thus far. I never have to look far for inspiration or support, and that is a rare privilege that I do not take for granted. I hope I can offer even a fraction of that inspiration and support back to the community that has been so generous to me.
