London Marathon 2026! What an unforgettable day. The crowds were absolutely unbelievable - a constant wall of noise for the whole 42km. Humanity at its finest.
Completing my first ever marathon has been a real bucket list achievement and extra special to have done it in my home city. The conditions were brutal - the heat was taking no prisoners! The nerves, the agony, the euphoria; the race had it all. But all things considered, I’m chuffed to have finished it in 3:48:17.
Shout out to my biggest cheerleader @_louto_ who supported me every step of the way, my partner in sporting crime @chrispoonmd for smashing out the 26 miles for @aktcharity and finally the whole of the support team who came down to cheers us on.
See final slide for a realistic depiction of the aftermath. Safe to say, I won’t be running that distance again for a while. In the meantime, get me back to parkrun! 😂

And to be in Singapore during the Lunar New Year celebrations was extra special. Our final two stops on the honeymoon of a lifetime! 🥹♥️

The hustle and bustle of the city of Hanoi was certainly a contrast to the beauty and serenity of the Ninh Binh countryside, but just goes to prove how much Vietnam has to offer. We only scratched the surface! A truly amazing country. Not to mention, food to DIE for. I miss egg coffee, very much. 🥚
