I feel like the last few years I’ve been pretty direct with the world we’re building around these drops with NB, and the stories behind them.
For the 1890, I just kept thinking about those rap videos in the 90’s.
That feeling.
For me, that was a peak time for Black expression.
Everything felt bold. Free. A little weird.
That’s really what this one is about.
Leaning into that.
The weird shit is what shaped me.
