@briar.sings and i had the massive honor of opening for @ladya_bluesdiva on Saturday night. It was so humbling to join @oliveriiijohn and Herman Brown onstage alongside the mighty and indomitable Lady A to play some of her new, original music on harmonica. Briar and I sang, danced, shimmied as our cups continue to overfloweth.
Thank you to all of you lovely people who came out - especially Phoebe and @jedcrisologo along with our @savoys.blues.underground homies that danced with us.
Lady A: it is just an everlasting joy to be in community with you, my dear friend! Let’s keep on doing it better and grander, what a time to be resisting the bullshit of this sad world through joyful music.

@deeringbanjos and @rhiannongiddens powers combined to donate 10 custom Goodtime banjos to @therhapsodyproject instrument library! We’ll put these instruments through their paces today as we host our 2nd banjo workshop in partnership w/ @black.banjo.reclamation here at King St Station!
These instruments will be available to people year-round through our lending library, and so we’ll likely send some home for the holidays with some of our BBRP students tonight!
