No prior acting or theater experience is necessary for them to join. There’s a chance to win money, scholarships, and a trip to NYC to perform at the legendary @apollotheater

Break The “Rules” In Filmmaking 📷

While doing a shoot with @tagentertainment_ I had some thoughts while setting up the lighting. So many of us filmmakers and content creators are taught to only use soft lighting when shooting. So much so that we forget why that is in the first place. This limits us.
.
Your approach should be treating Cinematography as a language. It should submit itself to the story or context that you’re shooting in. Harsh or hard lighting is totally fine with right context.
.
But remember, this is Art that you’re making. There are no rules here so do what you want. Authenticity always wins.
.
