Brickell’s getting a golden-hour glow as
@sunkissedbrickell opens its doors, blending Miami coastal cuisine, live music, and late-night energy into one immersive experience.
Founded by longtime hospitality veteran and 1st-generation Cuban-American
@itsreallydavid , Sunkissed is deeply rooted in Miami’s culture, history, and sense of place. After 15 years in the industry—including The Anderson and the nationally acclaimed Minibar—Cedeño says the concept was born from a desire to give back to the city that shaped him.
“Miami changed my life and I want to give something back to the community… and tell the story of this great city by showcasing all the beautiful things about it,” he shares. The name itself captures that intention, evoking “the perfect sunset… when the sky is orange and you know it’s going to be a good night.”
The menu, led by
@jlebron13 , is a refined yet soulful expression of Miami coastal cuisine, highlighting local seafood through Caribbean, American, Latin, and Southern influences. Standout dishes include Crab Stuffed Flounder with Curry Beurre Blanc, Swordfish Milanese with nori tartar sauce, and a decadent Lobster Toast served over lobster bisque.
The cocktail program mirrors that sense of place, with drinks inspired by Miami’s past—alongside Cedeño’s signature namesake cocktail made with papaya, Aperol, and mezcal.
Open Wednesday through Saturday, Sunkissed transitions seamlessly from dinner and live bands to a late-night lounge with DJs.
“I want people to feel at home and welcomed,” Cedeño says. “My goal is to create an impactful memory every time someone comes to Sunkissed.”
