“I Thought I Heard Your Voice Just Then” is a new comic drawn by @jlaguff and written by myself. You can read it below or purchase it on a pay-what-you-want basis on Itch.io, which I strongly recommend doing since Instagram is not at all the ideal platform for this sort of thing. For six dollars, we are also offering a process edition; this comic was written more loosely than my usual and, so this process edition is honestly highly recommended as well, to see Justin bring it to life over time. You can find both versions here:

On display @necessaryarts until December 17th
Wreckage
Wreckage debuts an ongoing Woodcut series made up of heavily remixed and edited collages that are engraved into plywood. It serves as a continuation of exploring editing software, with the aid of snapshots and found photos, as a mark-making tool. The results being a collection of photo-montage populated by emerging and disintegrating forms whose presence bring about the ruin of their support – in most cases, the appropriated images are obscured underneath successive layers of copies.
The title is derived from a brief passage (5th Slide) in Catherine Taylor’s Image Text Music published by @selfpublishbehappy in which the word Wrecks refers to a deflated post-structure that can become a vehicle for change.
Debuting at Rock Paper Scissors @psguelph@agguelph on Sunday, February 22nd.
1. New landscape Risograph Zine, Fugue. Printed by @reasonable.ink in Scarlet and Melon (printed on the reverse side)
2. New cowboy, a Cat stickers, and a restock of the popular Goose stickers too. Yeehaw.

🌱 ✨
Hi, happy holidays/new year/life. In 2025 I published 70 pages of comics (over eight short stories), all of which are free to read online, but I’ve made a digital bundle for anyone who wants to show support — $10USD for seven comics (70 pages total), with a host of process files available for another $5. All the money goes to my brilliant collaborators. Check it out: https://hagaipalevsky.itch.io/2025bundle
