Been a bit MIA lately, rediscovering what creativity and AI means to me.
In the simplest words, I think it means asking: how can I use what I create to help shape the world around me? How can I imagine a better future, and use my talents in service of that and how does AI help with that?
Lately, I’ve been really interested in what
@textileexchange is doing to bring more awareness, accountability, and structure to the earliest stages of what becomes the fashion industry. Their work is created for companies and organizations to better understand their systems, improve how materials are produced, and hold themselves more accountable.
But there’s a part of the conversation I keep thinking about: what about the consumers? What about the stylists, creatives, and people within fashion who also want to understand what they use, how they care for it, and how they contribute to a more thoughtful industry?
That question became the starting point for SILLAGE : a thesis, if you will, but also a direction I’m continuing to follow.
This project does not end here. It feels more like the beginning of a longer path: using creativity to imagine systems that are more transparent, more human, and more connected to the future I want to help build.
