Walking past my local bus stop and standing waiting for a bus was @stephen_kapos . I was totally struck dumb. I simply put my hand on my heart and thanked him for being one of the great heroâs of our time. Then walked away weak at the knees. Wish Iâd said more. Wish Iâd shaken his hand. Wish I did more.
On July 26th @londontranspride broke the world record for turn out to support and demonstrate our governments disgraceful treatment of our trans brothers and sisters. Trans people have been with us since the beginning of time. They have been revered as sacred. They will be with us till the end of time. No matter what you do @10downingsteet so do your bare minimum for the people you lead and read your history. You are pathetically oppressing the minorities for ill judged political gains by appalling lobbying groups. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Grow the f*%ck up and have some humanity.
âWe get a few faints on a Friday... Itâs very, very common with comedy because as you laugh, you naturally forget to breathe. Youâre in the dark, youâve had a drink, youâve forgotten itâs hot... You can see the crew react: someone comes in, grabs the fainter, pulls them into the bar. At which point they wake up straight away, ask for another drink and go back in.â â @jjfeild on starring in the show of the summer, A Midsummer Nightâs Dream at @_bridgetheatre . Whether heâs delivering razor-sharp dialogue opposite Idris Elba in Turn Up Charlie, taking the wheel in the Oscar-nominated Ford v Ferrari, or anchoring a psychological storm in @paramountplus âs Little Disasters, JJ Feild brings a poise and internal depth that has quietly marked him out as one of Britainâs most quietly fascinating talents. Now, after more than a decade living and working in the U.S., he returns to the London stage in A Midsummer Nightâs Dream at the @_bridgetheatre â and it feels like a homecoming with purpose.

â¨Still buzzing from last nightâs dazzling A Midsummer Nightâs Dream @_bridgetheatre âan electrifying reimagining of Shakespeareâs classic that left the whole audience breathless and then dancing on the stage.
Our brilliant friend @jjfeild is magnetic as Oberon (and Theseus), bringing both mischief and depth to a role reinvented with a fresh, gender-flipped twist that The Guardian called âriotousâ and âjoyful.â In Nicholas Hytnerâs visionary staging, the forest isnât just a dreamscapeâitâs a place of rebellion, freedom, and transformation. And JJ plays it with all the heart, humor, and humanity youâd expect from someone with that much range.
Between BeyoncĂŠ, aerial fairies, acrobatic chaos, and an absolutely stellar cast, this production is immersive theatre at its most exhilarating. One minute youâre laughing, the next youâre watching a feminist mutiny unfold behind a pane of glass. As the Financial Times put it, this is âa joyous and sprightlyâ return to the woodsâand I couldnât agree more.
If youâre in London, do not miss it. Long live the dream. đŤđđ§ââď¸
