What a trip this year has been. It’s all making more sense now. There’s no evolution without growing pains. Even the dawn of the universe was called a “big bang” 👽 Remain aligned in purpose. Let go of what doesn’t serve you. What is removed will truly be replaced. I’ve been shown that constantly over the last year. It’s been an immense relief to not let the weight of it all be put on my shoulders when I can collaborate with God and be locked in with community that matches my frequency. You can’t ever truly lose when you set yourself up that way, only lessons and experiences to be gained. Onward. We received it early as part of our armor during @thespeedproject and put it to the test. From runners to crew we all wore them the majority of the race and they held their own throughout the ride. From the style and color-way, durability, and memories tied to this shoe now with adventure, they have become my personal favorite from @altrarunning 🤘🏾 Big up again to @altrarunning for the sponsorship and support you have shown @oruzu.world and to @ayejames and the entire team at @pleasures for accommodating us before, during, and after the race fam. A lot has changed since that Friday morning at 4 am when we took off to begin our journey. I’ve been able to reflect on all the full circle moments that came through during this race. The lifetime bonds that were built through passion, love, and grit. The sacrifices everyone made to be there. The emotions came through with completion of a beautiful struggle. Running on little to no sleep. Maintaining focus and staying positive through the midst of challenge. Trailing through the quiet of the desert at night with no street lights, just your headlamp and the stars and moon to guide you through at many points. There’s a freedom that’s liberating from experiences like this. The days and nights of running alone, filling in your training around work, auditions, and life. The amount of times I had to cancel hanging out with friends or speaking to people because I had to lock in and build that discipline for this race. Being misunderstood on what I had going on. Navigating real life hardships while having a dream to follow through with as your North Star. I’m proud of myself and my team @oruzu.world and everyone that did this race. There’s a collective resilience that was amongst us you had to respect. We did not go gentle into those nights. We raged against the dying light until we could be met with the sun again each desert morning and then finally made it to Vegas. Seeing that sign Welcome to Las Vegas sign didn’t just conclude an ultra distance race, it was also the mark of a new beginning. More adventures to come and I couldn’t be more grateful that those experiences will be shared with a team that sees me and gets it, just as I see and understand them. TSP 2026 LALV 🏴🏁🏴‍☠️ “ITS GOOD FOR RUNNERS TO SUFFER, LIFE IS RICHER THAT WAY.” - @thespeedproject 343 MILES. 49 HOURS. 8 BIPOC RUNNERS. 6 CREW. NO RULES. NO SPECTATORS. LA TO VEGAS. I’m still in a daze from this experience. The entire journey has been so mystic. All of us got to see who we really were in that desert. Lifetime bonds were formed. The bar was raised. A statement was made. Every day out there we were challenged, adapted, and overcame whatever crossed our paths. I love this team. I love this run shit. I looked up at the sky each night and thanked God for being here. This relay race was something special. I’ve always wanted to do the Speed Project. The lore was always enticing and I’m so grateful it aligned how it did, when it did. What’s meant for you will come you just have to be prepared to jump into the unknown when the time comes and trust the process. Running has saved my life more times than I can count throughout my life whether it was to keep me out of trouble as a teenager, my mental health, and it’s always come back to help me to find myself. Even more so, it has given me adventure. As @bertobegreat would say, it’s all a game 👽 Out there we were free. A part of me is still in that desert. Thank you to @whatsupwally for allowing me to be part of @oruzu.world I was originally crew and stepped up to be one of the relay runners when we had a drop out. Big love to all of my team members and crew. Special thank you to @altrarunning for all of the support provided, as well as to @ayejames and @pleasures for letting us utilize your collab shoe with @altrarunning for this race. We used them well. Thank you for seeing us. It’s important for community and culture for them to see us out there and what’s possible not just for us, but for others. Running is for everyone. You allowed us the space and creative freedom to showcase that. F*CK WE MADE IT ANOTHER YEAR! 🤟🏾🥳 From the beginning of this year up until this point it has been such a wild ride. Year of the snake for real. So much shedding and evolving. I was hit with so many obstacles from losing loved ones, making tough business decisions, removing myself from environments that weren’t aligned, and really just trusting God’s timing. I said it to the homies after the fires if I make it through this year it’s because of God. Shit was out of control. I was relentless and faithful and the shit paid off. Going into 2026 I have some really cool opportunities creatively and work wise as a whole I’m excited to share in time. I got new management now that aligned perfectly so I’m ready to cook! I was able to spend time with my family and close friends before stepping fully into this next chapter. The support is truly immeasurable. I’m just really fucking proud of the man I’ve become and I’m further evolving into. Thank you all so much for the love and support throughout the years. The outpour of bday well wishes I’ve already received. My heart is so full dude 🫀 Hope everyone has a beautiful holiday with their tribes and make this next year yours 😤
