A lot of thoughtful passion from a team of humans I admire went into helping tell the story of Happy Face in a meaningful and thought-provoking way. Music philanthropy is destined to be about so much more than just the symphony. It was an honor to curate Table Turn #002 in Los Angeles last week—a one-of-a-kind dinner experience from the heads and hearts behind House of Paper, a new endeavor pulling artists and philanthropists together in a powerful counterforce to the deepening algorithmic grooves that increasingly shape the music we all hear. We designed the night around a single song, ‘The Apple Orchard in Saghmosavanq’ by contemporary Armenian jazz pianist Tigran Hamasyan, and its impressionistic images of loss, hope, growth, and possibility. So grateful to be a small part of something that I wish had existed back when I was making music out in the long tail of that early algorithmic promise. 📸 @bymaximiliano 🙏

This year was growth. Rocky unsteady bottoms and pure chaos turned towards clear blue skies and alignment through tons of effort and energy. It’s wild that the entire universe happens through our perception. If we change our internal world, the outside reflects it. Here’s to continuing to learn how to relate to myself in 2026. Feeling eternally grateful for the people I get to co create all of this with! 🌋
