8 Years Without Jermaine – But Never Without His Legacy 💔🕊️ Eight years ago, our world changed forever. Jermaine’s life was taken when he was stabbed – and in that moment, everything we knew was shattered. From that pain, the Justice for Jermaine Foundation was born. We vowed that Jermaine’s name would stand for change, action, and the fight to save lives. One of our proudest initiatives, the Bleed Kit Project, exists because we know that had Jermaine had access to a public bleed control kit, there’s a possibility he may still have been here today. Over the last couple of months, we’ve placed lifesaving kits in public spaces across Croydon, business, and trained our community to use them. Most recently installing a kit & cabinet at @merky_fc_hq A big thank you to @reedhamchildren as the training in schools has been made possible thanks to you. You’ve helped us equip many young people with critical, lifesaving skills! Last Friday, on Jermaine’s 8th anniversary, over 700 people came together – children, parents, youth workers, community leaders, council members and Mayors – to honour his life and take part in critical bleed training. Many left empowered with the skills to save a life, carrying Jermaine’s legacy forward. Thank you @crews_safetysolutions for partnering with us to deliver this training. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out, to the organisations who stood beside us, and to @majesticcareservices_cic for partnering with us to ensure the day was a success. Your presence and unity mean more than words can express. Jermaine – your name is etched into every life we protect, every kit we install, and every young person we train. We will never stop fighting for the change you deserved. ❤️🕊️ #8YearsWithoutJermaine #JusticeForJermaine #StopKnifeCrime #BleedKitProject #LifeSavingSkills #CommunityUnity #CroydonStrong #EndKnifeCrime #SaveALife #JermaineLivesOn #CriticalBleedTraining #JFJFoundation

Thank you for the support‼️ We are continuing our life-saving work by delivering trauma response training to young people in schools, colleges, youth hubs, and to businesses across Croydon who now hold our bleed kits on-site. Our vision is bigger than Croydon — this is a national emergency. The long-term aim is to expand this initiative across London and eventually nationwide, with government backing. We know it’s painful to accept that bleed kits are even necessary — and we share that pain, deeply. We know it firsthand. But we are no longer in a place where we can afford to be paralysed by grief. After the recent tragic loss of another young girl in Croydon to knife violence, the time for only mourning has passed — now is the time for action. We’re here to drive real, community-led change. This project is not a reaction — it’s a response. A necessary tool in the fight for survival, safety, and empowerment. We’ve seen your questions about kit locations and how they work — and we hear you. We’re working on informative videos and resources that will be shared soon. Please continue to follow, engage, and share — every voice amplifies the mission. To our community: stay strong. Stay focused. Change is already happening, and it’s being led by us the community — on the ground, with purpose, and with love. Due to the overwhelming number of people asking how they can support, our GoFundMe will be launching soon. We hope this vital work receives the full recognition and backing it deserves from national stakeholders — but until then, we move forward together. Lastly, the young girl who tragically lost her life on Monday morning was just 30 seconds away from two of our bleed kits. Her loss underscores why awareness saves lives. May she rest in eternal peace 🕊️ Please continue to share. 🚨This week is Anti-knife crime week🚨 It only takes moments to change everything. When someone is seriously injured and bleeding, time becomes the most critical factor. But too often, help arrives too late. That’s why we’ve taken action. @jfjfoundation has placed bleed kits across Croydon — installed in key public spaces, local businesses, and stations — giving everyday people the power to respond in emergencies. This is our first roll out with more to come! Inside each cabinet is a trauma kit designed to control bleeding and support life until emergency services arrive. No medical training needed. Just clear steps, quick action, and the courage to care. 🔓 When you need to access our red cabinet: 📞 Call 999 🧰 Get the access code 🩹 Use what’s inside to help 💡 Be the reason someone lives This isn’t just about equipment — It’s about creating a community that’s ready to stand together and protect one another. Prepared. Equipped. Empowered. 📍Save this post 📢 Share it forward 🖼 Familiarise yourself with the cabinet image Let’s rewrite what it means to show up for each other, we’re here to create impact for change! #JFJFoundation #CommunityFirst #BleedKitProject #MetropolitanPolice #CroydonCouncil #CroydonBid #KnifeCrimeAwarenessWeek #BleedKitMovement #EndKnifeCrime #EmergencyPrepared #SaveALife #CroydonStrong #StreetSafety #StopTheBleed #forthepeoplebythepeople

Earlier this week, JFJ Foundation delivered our Bleed Kit Workshop with Croydon Probation Service For those working on the front line in Croydon, this training isn’t optional, it’s essential. Probation staff are often in environments where tensions can escalate quickly, and where serious incidents can happen without warning. Having the confidence and knowledge to respond to a critical bleed means they’re able to act with purpose in high-pressure moments and potentially save a life. This is about protecting not just the community, but the individuals they work closely with every day. It’s about being prepared in real moments, not just theory. When the unthinkable happens, response matters. Prevention. Education. Action. #JFJFoundation #BleedControl #StopTheBleed #KnifeCrimeAwareness #Croydon #CommunitySafety #FrontlineWorkers #LifeSavingSkills #PublicSafety #TraumaResponse #CatastrophicBleed #CatastrophicBleedTraining #SaveLives #CommunityImpact #PreventionFirst

Art Not Evidence is proud to be part of the Legacy Unity Cup 2026 on 18 April at #MerkyFC HQ, Dagnall Park, SE25 5PH. This is a day being held in honour of Stephen Lawrence’s legacy, bringing together football, music, spoken word and community. There’ll be a 7-a-side tournament, DJs, performances, great food and a brilliant mix of people and organisations coming together for something positive, powerful and needed. We’re proud to be involved because this is exactly the kind of space that matters - one grounded in community, connection and showing up. Alongside the football, the day is also about bringing people together around the issues affecting too many young people and communities, and creating room for conversation, support and solidarity in a way that feels real. Art Not Evidence will be there with a team, so please come down and support us, support the other teams, and be part of what promises to be a really positive day. We’ll be there alongside @freedomthroughfitness_ , @houseofvox , @zf.legalconsultancy , The Spartan Project @tsp.world , Mary’s Charity, @jfjfoundation , @majesticcareservices_cic & the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation @sldayfdn If you can come along, please do. The Legacy Unity Cup 2026 🏆 A community-led event in honour of Stephen Lawrence’s legacy, bringing people together through football, culture, and real connection. This day brings together organisations working on the frontlines of youth development, justice reform, and community impact, with full media coverage by @complex_uk , the UK’s pioneering publisher and culture phenomenon. At the heart of the event is a competitive 7-a-side football tournament, with 12 teams going head-to-head from group stages through to the finals. Alongside the football, expect live spoken word, music, a crossbar pull up challenge with prizes, plus tropical soul food served by @cheffingwithash , with refreshments available throughout. April is a time of reflection, but also a reminder that there is still work to be done. This is about creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and part of something positive, where prevention happens through presence, not enforcement. This goes beyond sport. It’s about connection, conversation, and creating real change through community. Come and be part of something bigger than the game. Tickets are now live. 🟠 “I have seen firsthand how violence shatters families and communities, and it is this experience that drives our mission at Justice for Jermaine (JFJ) Foundation. We stand firmly with women and girls, working alongside partner organisations to challenge and end violence in all its forms. Together, we are committed to building safer, stronger futures for everyone.” - Tilisha Goupall, Founder of JFJ Foundation. The @jfjfoundation has launched a BleedKit Project, providing emergency bleed kits and first aid training across Croydon. More than 1,000 young people have already been trained in how to use them — and every person trained brings us one step closer to saving a life. #16daysofactivism #VAWG #Noexcuse #16days

Over the month of November, the JFJ team visited multiple schools across Croydon — delivering life-saving Bleed Kit workshops to young people, in collaboration with Ignite Young Minds. 💛🩹 Each session empowered students with practical skills, confidence, and the knowledge to act in an emergency. This creates safer schools, informed young leaders, and a community that’s better prepared to save lives. Huge thank you to @igniteyoung_minds , to all the schools who welcomed us, and to every student who took part. Together, we’re building a safer future. 🌟 #JFJFoundation #BleedKitProject #Knifecrimeprevention #Knifecrimeawareness
