In 1 WEEK we will screen to delegates at the 30th session of the International Seabed Authority (Kingston, Jamaica) where vital decisions are being made about the future of the deep sea, earth’s last wilderness. While the animals whose home is being discussed cannot attend, we hope the film can bring them into the space, inspiring wonder and curiosity at this threatened ecosystem which is so vast, unknown and full of magic. Scientists are united in the fact that there is no way to avoid environmental harm if mining were to go ahead. 950 scientists and 37 states have signed a moratorium on deep sea mining.
