Last week I had the honour of winning an RTS award for my grad film Before Lights Out! This film has taken me on an amazing journey since it was made, I’m happy for the chance to celebrate it again!
I represented UCA along with the amazing @sambor_ci (film) and @charliefriendx (documentary) and their teams. Congratulations to them on the nominations and award!
I was lucky enough to have Hattie and the whole team at @farnhamanimation as tutors, who are by coincidence the best in the business. I couldn’t have done it without them!

Wanted to try out a character in the painterly style, along with a quick character study. Going to try create a full stylised action sequence with her at some point.

Messing around with nodes this weekend. Wasn’t happy with the painterly galaxy effect I made for my grad film so here’s an improved version.
Could definitely be pushed further but I’m happy with this for now.
