On Friday, 17th April 2026, an exclusive and beautifully curated birthday dinner lovingly organised by her children was held at the elegant The Delborough, Victoria Island, Lagos. It brought together close friends, family, and well wishers to celebrate a truly remarkable woman.
Born to the family of Alhaji Fatai Banu and Alhaja Fatimo Banu, both of Ajasse Ipo, Chief Mrs. Taibat Mogbonjubola Olanrewaju Ayinke nee Banu carries with her a rich heritage of strength, dignity, and values. She was married to her beloved husband, the late Alhaji Ganiu Aweda Olanrewaju of Ajasse Ipo.
Guests stepped out in style, dressed in their very best, to honour this exceptional woman at 74, a symbol of grace, resilience, and enduring influence.
A proud Chief Matron of Peace and Joy Elders Foundation and a notable figure in cigarette distributorship, she has built a legacy not only in business but in humanity. She is a devoted mother to six wonderful children:
