Introducing: Lux (fka Rosalia), aka LUXYBOY!
Luxyboy is a friendly and sweet 4-month-old kitten looking for his forever home.
Found as a newborn kitten, soaking wet in the rain, he fought bravely to survive without his mom. Lux was a bit underweight during his first few weeks under our care, but @orangecathouseph kindly took him in and nursed him back to health. He grew steadily and beautifully.
He’s now back home with us. 🥰 He’s been exploring, playing, napping, and most importantly, eating a lot. It’s been an honor to see his personality blossom. He’s a quirky little boy who loves chasing Jethro’s laser, climbing up a human leg, and curling up on a warm lap. 🤭
He is so loved by many. We love you and we’re rooting for you, Luxyboy!
We’re looking for serious, responsible, and financially capable adopters for our dear Lux. He deserves the warmth and safety of an indoor life, just like our cats Bada and Sampaguita.
Please consider adopting our sweet boy. Just shoot us a message and we’ll send you an adoption form.
Applicants within Metro Manila only.

Manila’s Finest, 2025
Enjoyed working on this film last year! So grateful to be immersed in building the world of 1960s Manila, surrounded by many idols in the industry.
Ty and congrats to direk @rainmanred !!!
Bangkok in half frames, 2025
I’ve been curious about film photography but resisted it for so long kasi mahal at nakaka-intimidate. But I wanted to new way to capture our Bangkok trip so okay game na.
Tipid rin as a newbie.
Ganda sa Bangkok!! Sarap kumain with Babs always! Happy new year!
In 2014, when her symptoms of dementia were worsening, I made a film about Lola Glo. I pitched it to my professor as a parallel story about myself, who was too young to remember his Lola, and my Lola, whose own memory has betrayed her. I was processing this specific grief that I did not get know my Lola like my mother, aunties, uncles, and older cousins did. It broke my heart to realize that I wouldn’t get to know her as dementia took her away from us bit by bit, day by day, even if her body was still with us.
Last December 19, Lola Glo passed away and is no longer suffering. Last night during her service, my family played this film for everyone to see and I watched it for the first time in years.
In making the film and seeing it again I remembered that I did know Lola Glo. I see her strength and dignity in my mother, my aunties, my uncles, my cousins, and all my extended relatives in this large family she did her best to take care of. I have always felt her kindness and love and I will not forget now.
Love you, Lola Glo. You can finally rest.
It’s been two years since we pitched and developed this concept for a zine. We brought some copies to Taipei Illustration Fair hoping to find kindred spirits who also seek comfort in the night. Also, I saw Magnolia for the first time last week and it made me want to revisit this project. 🧍🏻♀️I have a few pieces left hiding in the corners of my bookshelf haha.
Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi collects the lives of people wide awake as Manila sleeps. Often because of the labor that keeps them in the nighttime, they toil in the streets while the whole city drifts off. It’s a tough life, but it’s a quiet one. There is a certain solitude and strange tranquility that the wee hours offer. There is joy to be found in convenience store food. There are new friends to be had in bars. And some nights, there is a brief respite in buy-one-take-one burgers after your night shift.

Excited to share some stills from our short film “Lusthouse”, produced in Busan last year during the 2024 BIFF Asian Film Academy. It was so much fun collaborating with my awesome director @neejflix and the entire team to create this silly little world. Treasuring all the memories and learnings from my co-fellows, mentors, and the Korean production team.

Busan dump! I still find myself overwhelmed with gratitude from being part of BAFA 2024. I learned so much about life and filmmaking (and how one is forever intertwined with the other) from my generous mentors and amazing co-fellows. Will forever treasure these memories. It still feels like a strange dream, and we’ll all probably continue unpacking this experience for the rest of our journeys. See you around, my fellow creeps and weirdos! 💖
