🌊 Bunny-suit Aqua !!
Idk if Aqua would actually wear, this but I have the power to put her in it anyway mwhaha.
This cosplay is designed by me and made from a pre-existing bodysuit that I modified. I added the halter top & ruffle collar to make it look more like Aqua's silhouette.
I also made the bows following a similar plan, such as the back ribbons being inspired by her blue hip sashes, and the pink bow to represent her pink belts and mark of mastery !
The rest of the cosplay is made up of parts from my normal Aqua cosplay, although I really want to redo the fabric for the arm pieces at some point. They get too wrinkly lol. And the mickey ears are something I made since before I even cosplayed Aqua !! I still love them so much hehe.
There's still some adjustments I need to make after this first wear as the neck area is a bit uncomfortable. I tried my best with these photos, but I couldn't stay in it too long due to the pain T-T I also want to take apart the blue bow and put some wire in it so it stays up better.

This cosplay only took about a week to make (on and off) because she has a pretty simple design.
The top is stretch cotton sewn with the individual shapes sewn together which was really painful lol. And for the straps on the bodysuit, I literally just handsewed them in place. It's definitely not my cleanest costume, but she makes me happy (':

This is my first time at a PAX event, and I've really been enjoying it !! I love a lot of the games they have available, but seeing some indie games I've been following at this event was a big surprise !! It's so nice to get to try them out 🥹
All of the booths also looked so cool !! I loved the cosplays and bike at the Code Vein booth ! So many booths had such amazing cosplayers, it makes me wanna make some new cosplays even more !! 🥲💖

This location was so beautiful for Aqua!! I was so happy we were able to go up onto the ramparts, and I think it really suited her. I kept thinking of the broken Cinderella's castle in Fragmentary Passage, one of my favourite locations in Kingdom Hearts.

There's still so much I want to work on and improve for this cosplay. The wig for starters needs to actually be properly styled (I cut it in one evening at a motel lmao. I miss my crimper and wig stand) and I really want to make her rats, baton and improve some little details.
