It's a basic reel about 2 minutes long of gigs from 2023 to present. Multiple of these clips are from films I myself wrote/directed, so I know the stress directors go through. Casting experienced actors alleviates some of that stress in my experience! I’ve even won an award specifically for acting, wowza 🤯. I'm always looking for interesting/off-beat roles. I don't care if it's a Day Player or a Lead. Based in Virginia and willing to travel as long as I break even financially. I will audition if needed of course! Updated the ‘All Cats Go To Hell’ poster with all the cool laurels it got. It went 7/8 on selections, by far the best selection percentage I’ve ever had. It won Best Short Screenplay in its categories three times. Never won one of those before, let alone THRICE from @victimsandvillains , @genreblast , and @magicofhorror respectively. Winner of the Coverage Ink Prize at @daysofthedeadfilmfestival complete with a detailed review and critique that I learned a ton from. Finalist selections for @atomacon_film_festival and @renegadefilmfest as well. Last but not least, it won Best Comedy Screenplay at @thinginthebasementhorrorfest back in 2024, which I’ll be attending this year’s festivities on Saturday November 1st for what may be the only West Coast screening of ‘The Litterbug’. If any of my filmmaker/screenwriter friends want to read this, please reach out. I highly doubt it will get made into a film as it’s currently written, but I write all my screenplays to be enjoyed by readers of genre work. I may adapt this into something bigger in the future, but who knows. This script is based around my cat Dunk, so the fact it has gotten this kind of attention is 100% pretty cool. Yesterday was a big ol’ happy birthday to THE award-winning Cinematographer of ‘Yolks’ and ‘The Litterbug’ @castillocreativemedia ! Here’s a clearly unedited picture of him on the set of ‘The Litterbug’ about two years ago. He’s a real trooper to have on set and we REALLY could not have done it without him. Wish Fernando well and maybe even hire him while you’re at it!

The Grandin Film Lab Showcase tickets are now LIVE. This program screens short films from local high school filmmakers (@grandintheatrefilmlab ) at the @grandintheatre ! It’s on Wednesday, May 20th at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm. Tickets are $7.39 each (this is the full price including fees) and all proceeds go directly to the Film Lab program. I’m acting in TWO short films this year. One as a Lead and the other in a one scene cameo. Both of the shorts I’m in should be screened early in the night, so don’t be late! ‘The Litterbug’ is officially making its EUROPEAN premiere across the pond over in the UK 🇬🇧 next month at the Lit Laughs International Comedy Film Festival! Selected as a Finalist out of over 500 entries! This UK festival gave a lot of love to ‘Bike Cops’ back in 2023 and now ‘The Litterbug’ gets to reach another continent. I thank @litlaughssketches for this honor 🙏

Got a fresh, new script hot off the proverbial presses and a poster from @evan_bushkar to go with it! It’s basically an “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” type situation at this point. This short is a drama with sci-fi elements. I’m submitting it to a few festivals before attempting to produce it, but it’s one I hope I get to make within the next few years.

@westcoastfilmawards in Tacoma, WA has awarded ‘The Litterbug’ for Best Comedy! It won this same award at their sister festival @thinginthebasementhorrorfest in Bremerton, WA last year, which my wife and I were able to attend. Thanks for the love 🙏

I’m very excited about where ‘Barbra’ is going. I haven’t had a role like this one EVER. This cast and crew led by @matt_cloude9 are phenomenal! Shoot two is in the books and we’ve got plenty to go. Stay tuned!

Go see artists you like LIVE when they’re close by. I’ve seen @chuckragan before, but this one was special. Hearing ‘Geraldine’, the only song I had personally requested be played at my mother’s memorial, live for the first time after the fact was incredibly moving. Got a cool mug that references my favorite song off his 2014 album to boot. @jon_gaunt and @crucial_fix were also phenomenal playing the banjo and fiddle alongside him.
