It's that time of year again! Where movie after movie is hitting theaters and I try to play catch-up to see everything.
Today was The Devil Wears Prada 2, then this week will be Mortal Kombat 2, Obsession, and then Mandalorian and Grogu the weekend.
You're already saying to yourself "The Devil Wears Prada"??!?!
Yes. I'm a big fan of the first one... Anne Hathaway is a major babe, Stanley Tucci is incredible and I could watch him eat a bowl of cereal for two hours and be entertained, he's that good. And Meryl Streep is, well... Meryl Streep!
Overall I enjoyed it. A sleek, modern legacy sequel with themes that touch upon the relevance of technology. It also feels so rushed in places and everyone seems to just fall back into place too easily.
I do feel that the movie tries to do too much at once and could have been streamlined better. Good editing needs to make a comeback ASAP.
