With so many releases coming up, I’m going to try to be better about posting things as they happen- here’s some songs/records I’ve gotten to be a part of “recently”. So insanely grateful to have had a part in these!

‘25 was a weird one, heavy in so many ways, beautiful in so many others. I lost two of my close friends this year. Wrote so much music. Made it through the worst fires in LA history. fell in love with Paris in 2 days. Moved into the coolest place. Spent a bunch of time in the gym. Ate so much good food, released my first song as a solo artist. Got to meet my nephew. laughed so much, cried so much. Listening to this Sam fender song last night as the snow was coming down and the plane was taking off to come back to LA just gave me a moment to let some of it out. I’m ready for the next one. ❤️ Last slide is the real summary of this year.

Jesse, thank you for being by my side for the entirety of my studio-recording career 🥹I feel sentimental that we did this album together, and I can’t imagine making music without you. Also thank you for transforming “Backseat” into such a ripper in its early stages. You absolutely crushed it on all of these songs. Andy, you’re an absolute beast of a producer and mix engineer. I’m so excited that I had the chance to work with you, and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you for believing in this music and for going above and beyond for this album 😭and for making the mix of ”Backseat” absolutely rip! “When You’re Leaving” First song ever in my name. Scares the crap out of me but that’s probably good. The story and the people that made this happen are in the pics, but I’m feeling so much love for all my friends who moved mountains with me the last couple weeks to get this stuff off a hard drive. Go find somewhere near the ocean to put the windows down and yell along. Also I’ve had no sleep so if I forgot to tag you or spelled your name wrong just put me down Last slide is me finishing the record right now after deciding to release it on my birthday.

Two years ago today I showed up in LA. Best decision Ive ever made. Feeling so grateful today for the people around me, the friends in Seattle that supported me through that process and the people down here who took a chance on me. As a birthday present to myself at the end of the month I’m releasing my first “solo” record. It’s hilarious to call it that because of how many friends have helped but it will be the first work under my name and I’m terrified and very excited. These songs mean more to me than anything I’ve ever written. Also, I live in the Hollywood hills now so this is my view when working on your stuff :) come make a record this summer. ❤️

What a crazy and incredible year. Making records with your friends is still the coolest shit in the world. Let’s make something this winter :) Last two are my face when you fall off the click.

You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To - @knockedloosehc When I moved to LA in July, I basically went straight into 606 to start working on this and it was incredible. I got to see @nickoxcalderon for the first time since 2016 when we toured Canada, quickly met Dave Grohl, and spent 2 weeks in a studio I had always hoped to after working at @robertlangstudio where the Foo’s story started. @zach_tuch_ too much to write already, but genuinely thank you for everything. I owe you so much and I’ll always be grateful that you brought me in. @wzrdbld thank you so much for having me involved in this record and @heathen_gang thank you for being the nicest dude and welcoming me in. KL forever.

New @theghostinside out today! Anyone who knows me knows I’ve been a fan of TGI since 2008, so it was a massive honor to be a part of this one. @illgrip you are a monster behind the kit and it was so sick to watch you lay it down on this. So much love to @dan_braunstein for having me involved and for crushing this one. Incredible mix by @zakkcervini (Sorry for the IG quality drop, go listen.)
