11 states down, 39 to go on my journey to run a half marathon in every state to raise awareness for men’s mental health.

Winter was hard. Maybe the hardest I’ve ever experienced. The conversation around mental health has been at the core of my heart of service for the last decade of my life. Holding safe-space open mics with @secretmidnightpress , teaching artists about the importance of movement for depression, nervous system regulation and inner-exploration with @homsoundbaths , and more. I set out at the beginning of 2026 to create a mini-documentary about mental health, but then…. Mental health got in the way.
So instead, I doubled down every day to do what I could to make it out of winter alive 🌹 I called it “my little acts of hope.”
I imagined adding a small stone to the scales of life and death. My little act of hope, every day, one stone, one chance to tip the scales in the direction of life. Most days that choice was going to the gym or sauna, other days it was journaling. ⚖️
I made it to Spring. I’m so lucky to be here. I love you.
Thank you to everyone who supported me and loved on me the last few months. I am rich with friendship. Spoiled rotten knowing the greatest people on earth. Also, the best cat in the world - Mr Monday Many Roses aka Bobby
Being a deep feeling person is a beautiful gift and heavy a responsibility. It takes courage to tend to a broken heart. Take care of yourself and never be afraid to drop the act of “being okay”
P.s. so many organizations and hospitals have free programs and financial assistance - all you have to do is ask! ❤️
Hope is free to have. So have as much as you need.
I’ve mostly been offline since September, but in October/November I spent three weeks in Japan and it changed my life forever. This was my third visit to Nihon, but this trip felt like I was living a dictation of some cosmic orator’s love letter to myself. I needed it deeper than I’ve ever dreamed of needing something. It woke me up.
I have 1000 stories of synchronicities and life-long friends I unexpectedly, but not surprisingly, made along the way.
I’ve been in school studying 日本語 since January and I am thoroughly enjoying the challenge of learning it (Japanese).
It was hard to choose twenty photos/videos
There are so many… so many memories
But they are my memories. My sweet memories.
Do something for yourself, I’m begging you, and I don’t mean get a little treat at the grocery store, I mean take a chance on your heart. ❤️ 🇯🇵
Words can’t describe how beautiful the International Day of Peace Sound Bath was. We had a slight rain delay, but it passed through, clearing the space for what would be the largest collaborative sound bath.
So many incredible hearts of love and service came together to create an ocean of harmony as one. It was a cathartic, healing moment for many and it wouldn’t have been possible without community.
Thank you to all of our amazing practitioners, musicians, vendors, volunteers, and special guests!
A few moments I know many of us won’t forget - when all the singing bowls started together. A truly indescribable experience. Also, @rinimusic coming in on vocals and violin! Wow!
We can’t wait to do it again ❤️🌹

Interview with @jessecale , the originator of hOm, on how he got his start creating immersive, concert-style sound bath experiences. Jesse is a gold-record music producer and poet from Columbus, Ohio. His reverence and love for the power of sound and music has been a fundamental part of the way he interacts with his inner and outer worlds.
Come experience his love letter to the community as he leads the hOm ensemble alongside 100 sound bath practitioners for one of his last public sound baths before stepping back to focus on the next chapter of his story.
He will continue to teach sound baths training classes, facilitate programs for communities, and be a part of hOm’s next chapter behind the scenes.
Join hOm this Sunday for the International Day of Peace sound bath at the @columbuscommons
New Song today! - "Seedling (Live at the Columbus Museum of Art)"

It’s Suicide Prevention Month and I wanted to stop by to say that I am so happy to still be here.
I’m so glad more people are talking about mental health these days, but we still have a long way to go. The rise in depression among the population has raised to, well, depressingly high levels.
I want to encourage you, anyone who needs to hear it, that there is so much love to be found and felt in this life. Being alive is the whole package. It’s sadness, it’s beauty, it’s victory, it’s defeat, and everything in-between. What a precious, difficult journey it is.
Don’t be afraid to speak up, to ask for help, and to choose hope 🌹
I love embodying a being that is so sensitive to the highs and lows. My mental health has become something I’ve learned to hold with respect and care through lifestyle and patience.
For me that looks like exercise, eating healthy, meditation, sound baths, therapy, and in difficult seasons - medication.
I love you. Live.
Seven years ago I released a passion project album called Late Night Feeler, named after a playlist I had curated of my favorite moody, dark, and vulnerable songs. I never promoted the album much, but I poured my heart into it at that point in my life. It’s scattered with poetry and voice recordings submitted by friends around the world.
Today, I’ve rereleased the album under my name (originally released under a pseudonym) preceding upcoming releases of my ambient piano work.
When the sun sets, if you’re looking for some music to take a long drive to, you can find it online ❤️

Strings by @samjohnsoncello and @themerysteel
Bass by @roojlee
Mixing by @glenndavisaudio
And many thanks to the wonderful friends who had sent me sweet moments to sneak into the album in many different languages.
The album is very much an exploration of my mental health at the time including poetry and references to my books.
