Auch wenn es zurzeit keinen eigenen Ort mehr hat, sendet das Hamburger HALLO:Radio weiter auf den gewohnten digitalen Frequenzen. Es ist seit einigen Jahren liebe Tradition des Festivals, aus diesem Pool fantastischer Selektierer* innen zu schöpfen und mindestens eine der dort aktiven Positionen als Local Support einzuladen. Diesmal ist es DJ Junus, der zurzeit mit DJ Cwiejung das Format LOBBY kuratiert. In ihren Sendungen reihen sich thematisch gegliederte Folgen an hörspielartige Wurmlöcher, und die Möglichkeiten des Mediums werden mehr als erweitert. Junus’ Solo-Projekte blasen in ein ähnliches Horn. Er interessiert sich viel mehr für Atmosphären als für das Missverständnis, dass man Taxifahrer*innen zum Tanzen bringen muss. Even if it currently lacks a fixed location, the Hamburg radio station HALLO:Radio continues to broadcast on its accustomed digital frequencies. For several years now, it has been one of the festival’s cherished traditions to draw from this pool of fantastic Selectors and invite at least one of the radio’s active voices as local support. This time it’s the turn of DJ Junus who is currently curating the LOBBY programme together with DJ Cwiejung. In their broadcasts thematically structured episodes go full tilt with radio play-like wormholes, and the medium’s possibilities are more than expanded.
